Access and admission to the Library

The Library is accessible from the Gallery, opposite the two Towers.

Visitors from outside the institutions of the European Union who have an interest in using the library (researchers, university teachers, practising lawyers etc.) may be admitted to the Library subject to prior authorisation.  In this regard, persons wishing to use the Library are requested to contact the Library's information-desk, preferably using the contact form. Students who have not completed their university studies are not admitted.

Consultation of works

Works may be consulted in the reading room, where the collections on European Union law and international law and the laws of the Member States of the European Union are to be found. All the other works in the Library's collection may be requested at the information-desk. External users may make photocopies, for which a charge will be made.

Loans

Loans are possible only within the institution.
