THE PRESIDENT OF THE COURT,

after hearing the Advocate General, Ms E. Sharpston,

makes the following

Order

1        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 15 May 2012, the Czech Republic, represented by M. Smolek, E. Ruffer and D. Hadroušek, acting as Agents, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council.

2        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 20 June 2012, the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by T. Henze and N. Graf Vitzthum, acting as Agents, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council.

3        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 22 June 2012, the European Parliament, represented by R. Passos and D. Warin, acting as Agents, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Commission.

4        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 26 June 2012, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, represented by C. Wissels and M. Noort, acting as Agents, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council.

5        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 27 June 2012, the Republic of Poland, represented by B. Majczyna and M. Szpunar, acting as Agents, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council.

6        By application lodged at the Registry of the Court on 4 July 2012 (e-mail of 2 July), the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, represented by S. Behzadi Spencer, acting as Agent, requested leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council.

7        The applications for leave to intervene were made in accordance with Article 93(1) of the Rules of Procedure, and are submitted pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 40 of the Statute of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

On those grounds, the President of the Court hereby orders:

1.      The Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Poland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are granted leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the Council of the European Union.

2.      The European Parliament is granted leave to intervene in Case C‑114/12 in support of the form of order sought by the European Commission.

3.      A period shall be prescribed within which the interveners are to state in writing the pleas in law in support of the form of order which they seek.

4.      The Registrar shall ensure that copies of all the procedural documents are served on the intervener.

5.      The costs are reserved.
