Request for a preliminary ruling – Anotato Dikastirio Kiprou – Interpretation of Regulation (EC) No 1393/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 November 2007 on the service in the Member States of judicial and extrajudicial documents in civil or commercial matters, and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 1348/2000 (OJ 2007 L 324, p. 79) – Obligation to inform the addressee of the document being served, using the standard form set out in Annex II to the regulation, of the conditions under which he may refuse to accept the document – Scope – Consequences, so far as concerns validity of service, of omission of the standard form where it is established that the addressee was apprised of the content of the documents concerned – Representative of the defendant having appeared before the court in order to contest the validity of the summons – Possibility of serving the documents concerned on that representative instead of effecting fresh service in accordance with Regulation No 1393/2007
