It has always been a concern of the Court of Justice to make its rulings rapidly available, and it is only natural that all the resources of Internet should be brought to bear.
Since October 1996, the Court has had its own Internet page on the Europa site, containing general information about the institution and the activities of the Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance.
New ground has now been broken: the full texts of judgments will be available in 11 languages on Internet as soon as they are delivered. A number of search criteria can be used Ä date of judgment, names of parties, case number, area of law or keywords.
The Court hopes in this way to meet the expectations of both lawyers and Community citizens.
The Internet address is: http://europa.eu.int/cj/index.htm
It will also be possible to access the Court's page more directly from 1 October 1997 via : www.curia.eu.int
