The President of the Court of Justice of the European Communities delivers a lecture at the conference held by the Danish Parliament to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Danish Constitution in Copenhagen


The President of the Court of Justice of the European Communities, Gil Carlos Rodríguez Iglesias, has today participated with other personalities in the 150th Anniversary celebrations of the Danish Constitution. To mark this occasion, a series of conferences has been organised by the Danish Parliament in Copenhagen.

The conference, organised on the theme of "Constitutionality and the relationship between the Powers of the State", was chaired by Professor Ole Due (President of the European Court of Justice, 1988-1994).

During the session, the President of the Court made a speech on "The European Legal Order from a Constitutional Perspective".

Professor Frau Jutta Limbach, President of the Bundesverfassungsgericht of Germany also made a presentation.
