Visitors may attend public hearings which are held during Court terms. As a general rule, they take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and start at 9.30 a.m. The duration of hearings varies. Please consult the list of hearings in order to select a hearing.
Groups of visitors who wish to include a hearing in their programme are requested to ascertain the dates of Court terms.
The Visits Service decides which hearing visitors will attend on the basis of criteria such as the interests of the group, the seating capacity of the courtrooms, the number of visitors present that day, the language of the case, etc.
Interpretation into the official languages of the European Union is generally provided for scheduled groups.
During the hearing, visitors are requested to comply with the Court’s security rules and rules of conduct.
Hearings may be cancelled or adjourned; in that event, the Visits Service will suggest an alternative programme.
