Annotation of judgments

This section contains references to ‘notes de doctrine’ – annotations by legal commentators relating to the judgments delivered by the Court of Justice, the General Court and the Civil Service Tribunal since those courts were first established. The section is divided into three parts:

- The first part contains references to annotations by legal commentators of the judgments of the Court of Justice delivered in cases brought before 1 January 1989.
Part 1: 1954 – 1988

- The second part contains references to annotations by legal commentators of the judgments of the Court of Justice and the General Court delivered in cases brought between 1 January 1989 and 31 December 2004.
Part 2: 1989 – 2004

- The third part contains references to annotations by legal commentators of the judgments of the Court of Justice, the General Court and the Civil Service Tribunal delivered in cases brought since 1 January 2005.
Part 3: 2005 - …

In each part, the judgments are listed separately by court or tribunal according to their case number, whilst the annotations by legal commentators are listed according to the chronological order of their appearance. At the end of each part, a chronological table listing all the annotated judgments enables the reader to find the case number of the annotated judgments easily, when only the date is known.
