Lehdistötiedotteiden tarkoitus on tiedottaa ymmärrettävällä tyylillä yleisölle ja lehdistölle oikeudenkäyntiasioista, jotka kiinnostavat tiedotusvälineitä tai vaikuttavat kansalaisten elämään. Niissä käsitellään myös tärkeimpiä toimielimen institutionaaliseen toimintaan liittyviä tapahtumia.
Unionin tuomioistuin laatii myös
tiivistelmiä
tärkeimmistä ratkaisuista. Tiivistelmät on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti asiantuntevalle yleisölle, varsinkin juristeille, jotka haluavat yksityiskohtaisemman katsauksen unionin tuomioistuimen ja unionin yleisen tuomioistuimen ratkaisuihin.
