ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT
OF THE SEVENTH CHAMBER OF THE GENERAL COURT

APPLICATION for (i) annulment in part of Council Decision 2013/255/CFSP of 31 May 2013 concerning restrictive measures against Syria (OJ 2013 L 147, p. 14), as amended, Council Implementing Decision (CFSP) 2015/383 of 6 March 2015 implementing Decision 2013/255/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Syria (OJ 2013 L 64, p. 41), Council Regulation (EU) No 36/2012 of 18 January 2012 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Syria and repealing Regulation (EU) No 442/2011 (OJ 2012 L 16, p. 1), as amended, Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/375 of 6 March 2015 implementing Regulation (EU) No 36/2012 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Syria (OJ 2015 L 64, p. 10), and (ii) compensation for damage.


1        By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 5 February 2016, the applicants informed the Court, in accordance with Article 125 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Court, that they wished to discontinue proceedings and that the question of costs had been the subject of an agreement between the parties, according to which each party should bear its own costs.

2        By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 26 February 2016, the defendant informed the Court that it agreed to discontinue the case and submitted that each party should bear its own costs.

3        Article 136(3) of the Rules of Procedure provides that, where proceedings are discontinued and the parties have come to an agreement on costs, the order for costs is to be in accordance with that agreement.

4        The case shall therefore be removed from the register and the order for costs shall be as agreed between the parties.

On those grounds,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SEVENTH CHAMBER OF THE GENERAL COURT

hereby orders:

1)      Case T-285/15 is removed from the register of the General Court.

2)      Each party shall bear its own costs.
