Action brought on 22 July 2004 by Vittorio Di Bucci against Commission of the European Communities

An action against the Commission of the European Communities was brought before the Court of First Instance of the European Communities on 22 July 2004 by Vittorio Di Bucci, residing in Brussels, represented by Marc van der Woude and Valérie Landes, lawyers.

The applicant claims that the Court should:

-    annul the decision of the Director General of the Legal Service awarding him a single priority point of the directorate general in the 2003 promotions procedure, confirmed and made final by the decision of the appointing authority rejecting the application to reconsider its decision;

-    annul the decision of the appointing authority not to award him any special priority points under the aegis of the 'Comité de promotion pour activités supplémentaires dans l'intérêt de l'institution' in the 2003 promotions procedure;

-    annul the decision of the appointing authority to award him a total of 20 points in the 2003 promotions procedure, the 2003 list of meritorious officials in Grade A 5, the 2003 list of officials promoted to Grade A 4 and, in any event, the decision not to include his name in those lists;

-    annul, to the extent necessary, the rejection of his complaint;

-    order the defendant to pay the costs.
