makes the following
Order
1 By letter of 21 September 2018, the Registry of the Court of Justice sent to the referring court the judgment delivered on 19 September 2018, RO (C‑327/18 PPU, EU:C:2018:733), requesting that court to inform it whether, in the light of that judgment, it wished to maintain its request for a preliminary ruling.
2 By letter of 24 October 2018, received at the Court Registry the same day, the Supreme Court (Ireland) informed the Court of Justice that it did not intend to maintain that request for a preliminary ruling.
3 In those circumstances, it is necessary, in application of Article 100 of the Rules of Procedure of the Court of Justice, to order that the present case be removed from the register.
4 Since these proceedings are, for the parties to the main proceedings, a step in the action pending before the national court, the decision on costs is a matter for that court.
On those grounds, the President of the Court hereby orders:
Case C‑191/18 is removed from the register of the Court.
