ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE COURT

In Case C‑514/07 P,

APPEAL under Article 56 of the Statute of the Court of Justice, lodged on 22 November 2007,

Kingdom of Sweden, represented by S. Johannesson and A. Falk, acting as Agents,

appellant,

the other parties to the proceedings being:

Association de la presse internationale ASBL (API), represented by S. Völcker, Rechtsanwalt, F. Louis, avocat, J. Heithecker, Rechtsanwalt, and C. O’Daly, solicitor,

applicant at first instance,

Commission of the European Communities, represented by C. Docksey and P. Aalto, acting as Agents, with an address for service in Luxembourg,

defendant at first instance,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE COURT,

after hearing the Advocate General, M. Poiares Maduro,

makes the following

Order

1        By application lodged at the Court Registry on 20 March 2008, the Kingdom of Denmark, represented by B. Weis Fogh, acting as Agent, requested leave to intervene in Case C-514/07 P in support of the form of order sought by the Kingdom of Sweden.

2        The application for leave to intervene was made in accordance with Articles 93(1) and 123 of the Rules of Procedure, and is submitted pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 40 of the Statute of the Court of Justice.

On those grounds, the President of the Court hereby orders:

1.      The Kingdom of Denmark is granted leave to intervene in Case C‑514/07 P in support of the form of order sought by the Kingdom of Sweden.

2.      A period shall be prescribed for the intervener to set out in writing the pleas in law in support of the form of order which it seeks.

3.      The Registrar shall ensure that copies of all the procedural documents are served on the intervener.

4.      The costs are reserved.
