By his action based on Article 270 TFEU, the applicant seeks, first, in essence, the annulment of the decision of the European Parliament of 19 April 2021 by which it rejected the request which he had submitted under Article 90(1) of the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and which related to certain elements of his pension rights and the annulment of the decision of 20 October 2021 in so far as it partially rejected his complaint and, second, compensation for the damage which he claims to have suffered as a result of the European Parliament’s alleged breach of the principle of the protection of legitimate expectations.

Operative part of the judgment

The Court:

Dismisses the action;

Orders each party to bear its own costs.
