Annulment of Commission Decision C(2012) 2557 final of 25 April 2012 declaring aid granted by the German authorities to a provider of services in relation to the disposal of animal carcasses and abattoir waste (‘Zweckverband Tierkörperbeseitigung’), in the form of annual contributions as compensation for losses allegedly suffered by that provider in discharging the public service obligation of keeping capacity in reserve to cope with the increase in the number of carcasses in the event of an epidemic, to be State aid incompatible with the internal market (State aid C 19/2010 (ex NN 23/2010)).
