The Court of Justice buys works, supplies and services through procurement procedures following the rules of the Financial Regulation. Only after these strict procedures are finalised can the Court sign a contract with a successful tenderer.

When the Court needs to purchase works, supplies and services, it follows the rules set out in the Financial Regulation. With the exception of low and middle-value contracts, it must, in principle, issue contract notices, which are public calls for suppliers to submit offers.

These contract notices are published regularly in the “S” series of the EU’s Official Journal.
