Art tours at the Court

The Court of Justice of the European Union organises free guided tours of its in-house art collection showcasing Europe’s cultural heritage.

Guided tours of the buildings and art works

Thanks to donations and loans from EU Member States, the Court is home to a collection of art works representing Europe’s cultural heritage. When designing the Court’s buildings, architect Dominique Perrault took account of how the collection could be better displayed and organised.

The Court’s Visits Service organises free guided tours to explore the collection in its unique architectural setting.

Tours are available in English, French or German, according to a predefined schedule.

If you would like to take part in a tour, you should register using the registration form at least two working days in advance.

Up to 20 people can participate in each tour. All visitors should bring a passport, ID card or driving licence and arrive at the visitor’s entrance 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Additional guided tours at another date or in other languages can be organised on request for groups of at least seven participants. You can use the “organised visits” option on the contact form to get in touch with the Visits Service.
