Legal monitoring
Legal monitoring documents provide updates on important case-law developments in the EU Member States and third countries. These updates are organised chronologically or by topic.
Flash News
The Research and Documentation Directorate regularly publishes “Flash News” on the case-law of the courts of EU Member States or third countries. These include Flash News on
- national decisions following a preliminary ruling: key judgments handed down by national courts following a preliminary ruling by the Court of Justice or General Court
- decisions of interest to EU law: judgments mostly from constitutional and supreme courts of Member States or third countries that are particularly relevant to EU law – such as those addressing important issues concerning the application or development of EU law
