Ξεκίνησε η διαδικασία υποβολής αιτήσεων για την περίοδο Μαρτίου-Ιουλίου 2027 του προγράμματος πρακτικής άσκησης στο Δικαστήριο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στο Λουξεμβούργο. Πρόκειται για αμειβόμενη πρακτική άσκηση που απευθύνεται σε πτυχιούχους διαφόρων πανεπιστημιακών κλάδων –και όχι μόνο νομικής– και προσφέρει πολύτιμη επαγγελματική πείρα σε ένα από τα κύρια θεσμικά όργανα της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Στις 14 Ιουλίου 2026 θα πραγματοποιηθεί ενώπιον του Δικαστηρίου η επ’ ακροατηρίου συζήτηση στις υποθέσεις C‑865/24 P, Ordre néerlandais des avocats du barreau de Bruxelles κ.λπ. κατά Συμβουλίου, και C‑866/24 P, Ordre des avocats à la cour de Paris και Couturier κατά Συμβουλίου, οι οποίες αφορούν αναιρέσεις σχετικές με περιοριστικά μέτρα της Ένωσης τα οποία απαγορεύουν την παροχή υπηρεσιών νομικών συμβουλών στη Ρωσική Κυβέρνηση και σε εταιρίες που έχουν την έδρα τους στη Ρωσία.

Το Δικαστήριο δημοσίευσε τα πρακτικά της τρίτης διοργάνωσης του συνεδρίου «EUnited in Diversity». Πρόκειται για μια συνάντηση που διεξάγεται κάθε δύο χρόνια στο πλαίσιο του διαλόγου μεταξύ του Δικαστηρίου και των συνταγματικών (ή ισοδύναμων) δικαστηρίων των κρατών μελών. Τα πρακτικά συγκεντρώνουν τις εισηγήσεις που παρουσιάστηκαν στο συνέδριο, το οποίο έλαβε χώρα στη Σόφια (Βουλγαρία) μεταξύ 3ης και 5ης Σεπτεμβρίου 2025.

Στις 6 και 7 Ιουλίου 2026 θα διεξαχθεί ενώπιον του Δικαστηρίου η επ΄ ακροατηρίου συζήτηση στην υπόθεση C-663/24, Streamz κ.λπ., που αφορά το ζήτημα αν συνάδει με το ενωσιακό δίκαιο βελγικός νόμος περί πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας ο οποίος παρέχει δικαιώματα σε εκδότες Τύπου, δημιουργούς και ερμηνευτές ή εκτελεστές καλλιτέχνες.

Στις 30 Ιουνίου 2026 το Δικαστήριο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης υποδέχθηκε τους συμμετέχοντες στο δεύτερο EU Legal Summer School, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος παρακολούθησης του τρόπου εργασίας (job-shadowing) στο Λουξεμβούργο, διάρκειας μίας εβδομάδας. Οι συμμετέχοντες παρακολούθησαν επ’ ακροατηρίου συζήτηση του τμήματος μείζονος συνθέσεως, συναντήθηκαν με Μέλη του Δικαστηρίου και εξοικειώθηκαν με το έργο του Δικαστηρίου.

Την Τρίτη 30 Ιουνίου 2026 θα διεξαχθεί στο Δικαστήριο η επ’ ακροατηρίου συζήτηση της υποθέσεως C-12/25, Bisdom Gent, που αφορά το δικαίωμα προσώπου να ζητήσει, δυνάμει του Γενικού Κανονισμού για την Προστασία των Δεδομένων (ΓΚΠΔ), διαγραφή των προσωπικών του δεδομένων από το μητρώο βαπτίσεων της Ρωμαιοκαθολικής Εκκλησίας.

Μπορεί ένα κράτος μέλος να επιβάλει περιορισμούς στις υπηρεσίες της κοινωνίας της πληροφορίας που παρέχονται από άλλο κράτος μέλος, και υπό ποιες προϋποθέσεις μπορούν οι φορείς παροχής των υπηρεσιών αυτών να θεωρηθούν υπεύθυνοι για τις πληροφορίες που αποθηκεύουν και διαδίδουν; Αυτά είναι τα ζητήματα που εξέτασε το Δικαστήριο με την απόφασή του στις συνεκδικασθείσες υποθέσεις C-188/24, WebGroup Czech Republic και NKL Associates, και C-190/24, Coyote System.

Την Τρίτη 9 Ιουνίου 2026 θα διεξαχθεί στο Δικαστήριο η επ’ ακροατηρίου συζήτηση των υποθέσεων C-358/24, Varo Energy Belgium κ.λπ., C-533/24, Vermilion Energy Ireland, και C-153/25, Acea Produzione κ.λπ., οι οποίες έχουν ως αντικείμενο την προσωρινή εισφορά αλληλεγγύης που θέσπισε η ΕΕ ως απάντηση στην ενεργειακή κρίση που προκλήθηκε στην Ευρώπη.

Στις 4 Ιουνίου 2026 πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Λουξεμβούργο η ετήσια συνέντευξη Τύπου του Δικαστηρίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (ΔΕΕ). Κεντρικό θέμα φέτος ήταν το κράτος δικαίου και ο σεβασμός των θεμελιωδών δικαιωμάτων ως βασικοί πυλώνες της ευρωπαϊκής ολοκλήρωσης.

Στις 25 και 26 Μαΐου 2026, αντιπροσωπεία του Δικαστηρίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης με επικεφαλής τον Πρόεδρό του, Koen Lenaerts, πραγματοποίησε επίσημη επίσκεψη στην Κροατία. Την αντιπροσωπεία του Δικαστηρίου υποδέχθηκαν εκπρόσωποι του Ανώτατου Δικαστηρίου της Κροατίας, του Συνταγματικού Δικαστηρίου της Κροατίας και του Κροατικού Κοινοβουλίου καθώς και ο Πρωθυπουργός Andrej Plenković.

On 20 and 21 April 2026, a delegation from the Romanian Constitutional Court, led by its President Elena-Simina Tănăsescu, visited the Court of Justice of the European Union, taking part in a series of working sessions and attending a hearing before the Grand Chamber.

On Tuesday 14 April 2026, the Court of Justice will hear case C-661/24 Académie Fiscale and Others, concerning whether national legislation can require operators to retain certain communications data from all users for a limited period to prevent fraud and abuse on their networks.

On Monday 23 March and Tuesday 24 March 2026, the Court of Justice will hear joined cases C-706/25 Comeri and C-707/25 Sidilli, as well as case C-414/25 Sedrata, concerning the Italy-Albania Protocol allowing Italy to use repatriation detention centres on Albanian territory under Italian jurisdiction to manage migration flows.

On 12 March 2026, President Lenaerts and Judge Bošnjak participated in a conference hosted by the French Cour de Cassation marking the 30^th anniversary of the Court of Justice’s judgment in Brasserie du Pêcheur and Factortame. The conference, entitled “30 years after Brasserie du Pêcheur – What is the current status and role of national judges in the European judicial system?”, brought together judges and other legal professionals from around Europe to discuss various aspects about the role of national judges in EU law and their interaction with the Court of Justice.

Marking the 25^th anniversary of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the latest “Judges’ Forum”, held on 9-10 March, between national judges and the Court of Justice of the European Union, focused on the Charter’s role in EU law.

On 27 February 2026, the General Court hosted its Second Round-Table on VAT, bringing together Members of the General Court and national judges from across the EU. Participants took part in a series of working sessions on key issues relating to value added tax at EU level.

On 1-2 December, the Court of Justice of the European Union welcomed judges from across the EU for its annual “Judges' Forum”. This is an opportunity for national judges to see the Court in action and to take part in discussions with Members of the Court on subjects of mutual interest. The visit takes place in the context of the close relations that the Court fosters with national judiciaries.

On 24 November, a delegation from the European Court of Human Rights visited the Court of Justice of the European Union. The Presidents of both Courts addressed a wide range of issues in a joint interview and discussion available to watch in full. Judges of both courts had a fruitful series of exchanges on a variety of subjects of common interest.
