  • The Court has published the conference proceedings of the third edition of “EUnited in Diversity”, a biannual dialogue that takes place between the Court and the constitutional – or equivalent – courts of the Member States. The volume brings together the contributions presented at the conference held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 3 to 5 September 2025.

  • On 6 and 7 July 2026, the Court of Justice will hear Case C-663/24 Streamz and Others, concerning whether a Belgian copyright law granting rights to press publishers, authors and performers is compatible with EU law.

  • On 25 and 26 May 2026, a delegation from the Court of Justice of the European Union, led by its President, Koen Lenaerts, paid an official visit to Croatia. The delegation was received by representatives of the Supreme Court of Croatia, the Constitutional Court of Croatia and the Croatian Parliament, as well as by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

  • On 18 and 19 May 2026, a delegation from the Supreme Court of Denmark, led by its President, Jens Peter Christensen, visited the Court of Justice of the European Union. Participants took part in a series of working sessions and roundtable discussions and attended a hearing before the Grand Chamber.

  • On Tuesday 12 May 2026, the Court of Justice will hear case C-627/24 P Bytedance v Commission – an appeal concerning the designation of Bytedance, the owner of Tiktok, as a “gatekeeper” under the Digital Markets Act.

  • On Tuesday 19 May 2026, the Court of Justice will hear Case C-407/25 Tersten, concerning suspected customs fraud and the obligation of national authorities to inform the European Public Prosecutor’s Office of investigations into crimes against the EU budget.

  • On 27-30 April 2026, a delegation from the Caribbean Court of Justice visited the Court of Justice of the European Union. The programme included information sessions and presentations, exchanges with Members and staff of the Court, and attendance at hearings of the Grand Chamber.

  • On 20 and 21 April 2026, a delegation from the Romanian Constitutional Court, led by its President Elena-Simina Tănăsescu, visited the Court of Justice of the European Union, taking part in a series of working sessions and attending a hearing before the Grand Chamber.

  • On 20 March 2026, a delegation of the Court of Justice of the European Union, led by its President, Koen Lenaerts, visited the French Conseil Constitutionnel (Constitutional Court), at the invitation of Richard Ferrand, President of the Conseil Constitutionnel.

  • On 12 March 2026, President Lenaerts and Judge Bošnjak participated in a conference hosted by the French Cour de Cassation marking the 30th anniversary of the Court of Justice’s judgment in Brasserie du Pêcheur and Factortame. The conference, entitled “30 years after Brasserie du Pêcheur – What is the current status and role of national judges in the European judicial system?”, brought together judges and other legal professionals from around Europe to discuss various aspects about the role of national judges in EU law and their interaction with the Court of Justice.

  • Marking the 25th anniversary of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the latest “Judges’ Forum”, held on 9-10 March, between national judges and the Court of Justice of the European Union, focused on the Charter’s role in EU law.

  • The Court of Justice of the European Union has launched the updated InfoCuria, its case-law database and search engine.

  • On 1-2 December, the Court of Justice of the European Union welcomed judges from across the EU for its annual “Judges' Forum”. This is an opportunity for national judges to see the Court in action and to take part in discussions with Members of the Court on subjects of mutual interest. The visit takes place in the context of the close relations that the Court fosters with national judiciaries.

  • On 24 November, a delegation from the European Court of Human Rights visited the Court of Justice of the European Union. The Presidents of both Courts addressed a wide range of issues in a joint interview and discussion available to watch in full. Judges of both courts had a fruitful series of exchanges on a variety of subjects of common interest.

  • On 3-4 November, the Court of Justice paid an official visit to Cyprus, hosted by the Supreme Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
