The Year in Review – Annual Report 2025 published

On 24 March 2026, the Court of Justice of the European Union published “The Year in Review” – its Annual Report for 2025.

It presents the Court’s activities and the most significant case-law of the Court of Justice and the General Court from the past year.

The annual report contains an overview of the key events of the year, statistics on the work of the two courts and a “Case-law focus” section offering clear and comprehensive reviews of the year’s major cases. The report also features contributions from the Presidents of both courts, the Vice-President of the General Court and the Registrar of the Court of Justice, reflecting on the developments and achievements of each court and the institution as a whole.

The report is currently available in German, English and French in the “Annual Report” section of the site. Other languages will be added as soon as they are available.
