Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) ensures that the Court of Justice of the European Union complies with EU data protection rules in all its non-judicial activities. This includes Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, which governs the processing of personal data by EU institutions and agencies. The DPO also advises the Court’s departments on data protection responsibilities.

The DPO operates independently when performing their activities.
