Groups of visitors who wish to include a hearing in their programme are requested to ascertain the dates of Court terms.
The Visits Service decides which hearing visitors will attend on the bases of criteria such as the interests of the group, the seating capacity of the courtrooms, the number of visitors present that day, the language of the case, etc.
Interpretation into the official languages of the European Union is generally provided for scheduled groups.
During the hearing, visitors are requested to comply with the Court’s security rules and rules of conduct.
Hearings may be cancelled or adjourned: in that event, the Visits Service will suggest an alternative programme.
