Europa Analytics is the corporate service which measures the effectiveness and efficiency of the EU institutions' web sites.
Europa Analytics is based on the open source analytics platform “Matomo” and is installed on a PHP/MySQL webserver.
Both the infrastructure and software are under the full control of the European Commission and comply with the current EU data protection legislation.
This platform enables the protection of end-user personal data thanks to features such as IP address de-identification and a mechanism for users to opt-out so that their browsing is not processed for analytics purposes.
It is managed by the European Commission on behalf of all EU institutions and bodies.
If you have activated the “Do Not Track” feature in your browser, Europa Analytics cookies will not be stored on your computer.
This does not affect your navigation experience on the Curia web site.
